Manufactum

Talentformation brought me in to pitch a design direction for Manufactum’s rebrand in 2016, which took place alongside a technical rebuild of the company’s e-commerce platform.

In addition, I designed a newsletter design system for Manufactum’s Customer Relationship Management team, which was implemented across their email marketing campaigns.

Manufactum has promoted responsible consumption for over 30 years, curating a catalog of durable, high-quality products. Each product carries a story, often closely connected to the history of its manufacturer, company, or even the family behind it. Many of these items have become culturally significant through their exceptional functionality, while others come from companies known for preserving nearly forgotten production methods and working with classic, long-lasting materials.

The design direction brings Manufactum’s philosophy into the user experience by positioning the products as the heroes—framed with generous white space—while highlighting the stories of their manufacturers.
